Born in Kerala. Graduated with Chemistry as major from University of Kerala. Did B.Tech in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology from Cochin University in 1981. Worked as Works Manager for a brief period with Automotive and Industrial Seals, Chennai. Started career with MRF Limited as a Technical Officer in Goa Plant in 1982. Became Head Plant Technical Department, MRF Goa in 1986 and continued in that capacity till 2003. Was transferred to MRF's Medak plant in Telungana state as Plant Head in 2003 and worked there for 2½ years. Worked as Plant Head of MRF's Pondicherry plant from 2005 till 2010. Moved to MRF's corporate division to lead the procurement team in 2010. Currently designated as Vice President - Materials of MRF Limited. Involved with India Rubber Meet from its inception in the organising committee. Working for past three years as Chairman of INROAD Project, which aims at creation of a 200,000 Hectare rubber plantation in non-traditional areas with most vulnerable people as the beneficiaries Management Training received from Administrative Staff College of India and Indian Business School, Hyderabad.  Technical Training received from BF Goodrich Tyre Company and Uniroyal Goodrich tyre co USA. Attended technical training Programme of Monsanto Chemicals held in Akron, Ohio, USA.  Working experience in Research and Development, General Administration of factories, Material Procurement and vendor development.
