Mrs. Sheela Thomas is currently working as Chairperson & Managing Director of Kerala Rubber Limited. She is a 1985 batch of Indian Administrative Service officer. She was the Head of the Departments of Social welfare; Co-operatives, Industries & Commerce; Agriculture, Public Relations, General Administration etc. in Kerala Government. She worked in various capacities in Govt. of Kerala as Director of Census operations; Secretary/ Principal Secretary/ Additional Chief Secretary in the departments of Agriculture; Food; Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs; Transport, NORKA; Information & Public Relations, General Administration Department (GAD) etc. and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister., Govt. of Kerala. She also served as Chairperson of the Rubber Board; Secretary General of Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) and Member Secretary, Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC), Govt. of Kerala.
