Mr. V.K. Misra, a Technologist and Engineer by training has experience of 50 years in Tyre Industry. He is currently Technical Director in JK Tyre & Industries, where he is working since last 36+ years. Mr. Misra is actively involved in various academic Institutions such as American Chemical Society, IRI, IIT – Madras and is presently functioning as Vice Chairman of IRI (Indian Rubber Institute) Governing Council and Chairman of IRI, Karnataka Branch. He is currently Chairman of ITTAC (Indian Tyre Technical Advisory Committee) and Vice-Chairman of TED-7 (Transport Engineering Dept.), Technical Wing of BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), Govt. of India. He is also a member of Steering Committee of Govt. of India regarding Circular Economy & ELT Policy implementation. He has also functioned as CII - Exim award lead assessor for assessment of leading organizations to evaluate compliance to Business Excellence Model of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry). He has keen interest in Machine design and has various designs to his credit. He enjoys sports activity and is an active Golfer besides Tennis and Billiards; socially he is a Member of BSG. He is currently responsible for overall Technology globally and supports Companies Expansion and modernization plans. He has played a key role in JK Tyre & Industries to spear head Radial Technology, a pioneering effort by JK Tyre in India
