Virendra Rathod is associated with Petrochemicals, Elastomers and Tyres industry for over 35 years. He is Chemical Engineer from UDCT, Mumbai and Post Graduation in management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Currently He is President – Business Development for GRP Ltd. and Managing Director of GRP Circular Solution Limited. In the past He was associated with CEAT, ExxonMobil and Reliance in Leadership role. 

At Reliance Industries He was heading Elastomers business and played key role in expanding elastomer portfolio and capacities multifold. He was instrumental in setting India's first Butyl and Halobutyl rubber by forming JV company – Reliance Sibur Elastomers Pvt. Ltd. (RSEPL).He is Board Member of RSEPL.
