Dr Stephen V. Evans is the Secretary-General of the International Rubber Study Group, based in Singapore.
Having qualified with a PhD in Plant Biochemistry from London University he went on to work in Shell Research and then a range of different chemicals businesses within Shell Chemicals before moving into the elastomer arena. He has been in the elastomer industry for the past 20 years with both Shell and Kraton Performance Polymers prior to joining IRSG in 2010.
During his professional life Dr Evans has also lived in Japan and Singapore for 8 years and worked extensively throughout all regions of the world.
